Lori B. Rassas is an SPHR-certified employment attorney in New York City, NY with close to two decades of experience representing both employers and employees in all aspects of their employment relationships. The second edition of her textbook, Employment Law: A Guide to Hiring, Managing, and Firing for Employers and Employees (Wolters Kluwer Law & Business) was published in December 2013. Her second book, The Perpetual Paycheck: 5 Secrets to Getting a Job, Keeping a Job, and Earning Income for Life in the Loyalty-Free Workplace was published in April and was featured on CNBC’s Power Lunch soon after its publication.
Lori has her own consulting business to handle employment matters. She is also a member of the adjunct faculty at Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health, Cornell University’s Scheinman Institute on Conflict Resolution, Fordham University’s School of Law, and Berkeley College.
