Getting Practical: Understanding the Prohibition of Sexual Harassment

This training workshop is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the prohibition of sexual harassment in the workplace, and draws up Lori’s prior work as a labor and employment attorney.

Upon completion of the workshop, participants will be able to define sexual harassment, distinguish between quid pro quo and hostile work environment harassment, and appreciate the differences between welcome and unwelcome conduct. In addition, participants will understand the obligations employers have to prevent harassing behavior, and the circumstances under which employers may be subject to liability. The prohibition of other forms of harassing conduct and the prohibition of retaliation and also discussed in detail.
